I am a self-taught artist born in Saguenay (QUEBEC). My creative journey begins in 2021 at the dawn of my 50s, spending my free time painting in my studio or outdoors. Holding a Masters degree in Library and Information Studies from McGill University, I work as a librarian at an elementary school in Montreal (QUEBEC).

I paint intuitively with gouache, pastel, ink and pencils to create energetic and candid work, using bright and warm colors, textures and expressive strokes to convey my emotions. I favor paper or any support where I can spontaneously express myself.

I prioritize mindful consumption and minimizing waste, considering them integral aspects of my artistic process. This mindset stems from a sense of responsibility towards the environment. Minimizing waste serves as a catalyst for my creativity, compelling me to extract the most from the materials I use, whether it’s paper, ink or paint on my brush, to unleash their fullest creative potential.

Je suis une artiste autodidacte originaire du Saguenay (QUEBEC). Mon cheminement créatif débute en 2021 À L’aube de mes 50 ANS, consacrant mon temps libre à la peinture dans mon atelier ou en plein air. Titulaire d’une maîtrise en bibliothéconomie de l’Université McGill, je travaille comme bibliothécaire dans une école primaire à Montréal.

Je peint intuitivement à la gouache, au pastel, à l’encre et au crayon pour créer une œuvre énergique et candide, utilisant des couleurs chaudes et vives, des textures et des marques audacieuses pour exprimer mes sentiments. Je privilégie le papier ou tous supports où je peux spontanément exprimer ma créativité.

Je privilégie LA consommation réfléchie et la réduction des déchets, les considérant comme des aspects intégraux de mon processus artistique. Cette mentalité découle d’un sens de responsabilité envers l’environnement. La réduction des déchets agit comme un catalyseur pour ma créativité, me poussant à tirer le meilleur parti des matériaux que j’utilise, que ce soit le papier, l’encre ou la peinture sur mon pinceau, pour libérer leur plein potentiel créatif.
